Case Details
While Mr. Anber was still in law school he took this case on. In this case, the accused was pulled over by the O.P.P. (Ontario Provincial Police). Since he had a suspended licence this client gave his brother’s name and address to the police officer. When the police officer questioned him further he indicated that his birthday was in June. Unfortunately the officer had verified the information and knew that the birthdate was wrong.
To make matters worse, everything was captured on video from the officer’s in car video camera.
Nevertheless, Mr. Anber persuaded the prosecutor to divert this matter upon a $300 donation being made to charity.
