This case from 2014 was yet another example of a sexual assault case where David Anber fought to get the charges completely thrown out.
Mr. P denied his guilt all along.
Once all the evidence was in, it was clear to Mr. Anber that the alleged victim was telling a story. In written submissions, Mr. Anber argued
[her] method of testifying […] should give a Court grave concerns over the extent to which such testimony can be accepted. It too demonstrates a carelessness for the truth.These were submissions the Judge ultimately accepted.
