Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (26 pounds of marihuana)

Simple Possession – Absolute Discharge

Case Details

Although this accused person was caught driving a van with a significant amount of drugs in it, there were problems with the search. After much negotiation with the Crown, it was agreed that Mr. A would plead guilty to simple possession (5 grams in a grinder) and receive an absolute discharge.

*** Please note, not every case involves “hitting a home run” like this one. However it shows that David Anber is a tough advocate for his clients.
